Melvin E. Tobey Jr. of Port Crane, 64, went to be in the arms of the Lord on Saturday August 7, 2010 from the Wilson Memorial Hospital. Tobey was pre-deceased by his parents Melvin E. & Thelma Tobey Sr. Survivors include his wife; Bonnie Tobey, sons, Ronald & Kelly Warwick, Randy Warwick, Matthew & Lindsey Webb, daughter, Tammy & Chuck Woody, grandchildren, Keira & Kaida Warwick, Estella & Hudson Webb, Joshua, Monica & Serena Woody. Tobey was a Veteran of the U.S.M.C. during Viet Nam and was the Honorary Commander of the Joseph P. Mangan American Legion Post #1194. He was at onetime a very active mechanic in the area also a former emploee of Singer Link and Binghamton Simulator. Tobey was very good with his hands as a craftsman and loved remote control planes, helicopters and boats as well as an avid bowler. He was aslo a member of the Binghamton Shad Club.

Military Honors will begin the Memorial Service and Celebration of Tobey's life this Sunday August 15, 2010 at 2:30 PM at the Joseph P. Mangan American Legion Post #1194 in Hillcrest. Tobey's family would like to thank Billy & Faye Johnson for all their love and support over the years.
