Thomas T.J. Pusey, 57, of Dickson City, died Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. His wife and companion of 18 years is the former Sandy Gillar. Born in Scranton, son of the late Thomas and Sonya Zimack Pusey, he was a graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School, class of 1974, and received an associate degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. He was employed for many years at Singer-Link, Binghamton, Cinram, Olyphant, and more recently Gentex Corp., Simpson. He resided for most of his life in Dickson City, after moving from Olyphant. He was a member of Holy Cross Parish, St. Patrick’s Church. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Also surviving are a son, Joshua Pusey, Dickson City; a daughter, Jessica Walsh and husband, Jack, Scranton; a granddaughter, Gabriella Walsh; a brother, Eric Pusey and wife, Debbie, Olyphant; a sister, Lynne Matthews and husband, David, Villanova; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Nancy Pusey; maternal grandmother, Helen Zimack; mother and father-in-law, John and Carmella Gillar; and brothers-inlaw, Billy Fallat and Vincent Orlowski.

The funeral will be Monday from the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St., Peckville, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant. Interment will be private at the convenience of family. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandra Gillar at NET Federal Credit Union.
