Edward Frank Grubic, 84, formerly of Hershey and the Middletown Home, died Friday, August 3, 2012, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp. He retired as a vice president of human resources at the former Link Flight Simulation Division of the Lockheed Martin Corporation, Binghamton, NY; a graduate of Wharton School of Business, University of Penn; an Air Force Captain serving during the Korean War and retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Major; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and was formerly a long term member of the Hershey Country Club.
Born on March 18, 1928, in Steelton, he was the son of the late Frank F. and Eva (Knoll) Grubic. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank and two sisters, Theresa Benkovic and Catherine Hermann. Surviving are two sisters, Mary Agnes Jackson of Camp Hill and Genevieve G. McGann (John) of Havertown; numerous loving nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, August 9 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Swatara Twp. Viewing will be held 6 – 8 PM Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
