One piece of software any optimizer must love is Firefox. Now some may say 'Why Firefox, it's just a visitor'? Yes, it is a visitor, but one that supports a variety of jacks, some of them invaluable for search engine optimization. Therefore let us see what those extensions are:

1. SEOpen ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/570/ ): this is among the best and most used Firefox seo plugins, and has several tools which make it a favorite of mine. If you think anything at all, you will probably want to research about mary morrissey info. Therefore let's see what it might do:

* in Google it could check for: backlinks, indexed pages, relevant pages, cache and PageRank.

* in Yahoo and MSN: backlinks and indexed pages.

* for backlinks, traffic facts, Alexa: overview and related internet sites.

* key-word thickness of the very most used words o-n the site.

If the site is included in the service * DMOZ checker: see.

* search for robots.txt. Hit this hyperlink partner site to learn how to see it.

* validator to check your page for errors (it uses the validator from www.w3.org).

There are other items, but these are the most crucial.

2. Search Engine Optimisation Links ( http://www.webmasterbrain.com/seo-tools/firefox-extensions/seo-links/ ) is yet another expansion I personally use everyday. Once the expansion si effective and you hover over a link a tooltip will appear that will present you Yahoo, MSN, and Google link popularity and ranking data for the URL and anchor text pair. I learned about mary morrissey page by searching books in the library. This can be annoying when you're simply browsing, but you can simply de-activate it with a right-click!

This could be effortlessly used to test your search-engine rankings for a particular page, and here is how: write up a listing with all the keywords and keyphrases you want to rank for, and then link those words or phrases towards the website pages associated with them!

Now everytime you wish to check your ranks trigger the Search Engine Optimization Links extension and float on the links – you will see where your pages are in Google, Yahoo and MSN.

3. Don't waste anymore of your precious screen property merely to discover what your PageRank and AlexaRank is! SearchStatus ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/321/ ) may sit everywhere you want (I keep it in the status bar) and you'll receive the precious information at-a glance. But this small instrument may do far more than that:

* it shows what meta-tags a site has

* checks for backlinks and indexed pages in Google, Yahoo and MSN

* it shows the document

* key-word occurrence statement purpose

* and best of all: the spotlight 'nofollow' links will show you what links will be followed closely by search engine spiders – very useful when you want to publish your site to a service and do not know if it'll matter from the seo perspective.

Therefore in the event you aren't using Firefox, go get it! It could be your best friend when it comes to search engine optimization!
