Ive done some studies within the last month or two about expiring domains with PR to see if it is worth your while to get these expired and wiped domains.

My idea why I'd prefer to use expired domains is the opinion that old domains are chosen than new domains, and to obtain immediate PR.

So I attempted to find deleted domains with PR that I could enroll. One characteristic of areas I was searching for was that the area still had a, and it was still shown in google. Clicking host reviews likely provides warnings you might use with your pastor.

I will not be mentioning the specific domains here as I want to control the results and prevent people from making backlinks to these domains.

I listed about 4 areas, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages found, some have a few thousand. Visit visit web hosting companies reviews to check up why to allow for this view. I also ordered a couple of new areas for my new projects.

I discovered that google rarely visits these areas so I want to perfect it but with some new backlinks. After creating some backlinks to these domains, two domains eventually lost their PR. These two domains have just a few pages listed in google. In one single site, used to do a 301 permanent direct to the new index page. This website retained its PR. One crucial huge difference this domain has compared to the other two is that this domain has 1000s of pages indexed in google.

In yet another domain, I did so a 301 and redirect it to a fresh domain. The result is that the new domain got indexed quicker and more pages were indexed in comparison to another new domain I registered at the same time. But, PR was right down to 0. There is also a case where used to do a 301 redirect from a classic deleted site with PR and never got any benefit from it.

In summary, there is still contradictory effects on whether getting deleted/expired areas. Some works, some won't. Nevertheless, what appear to work is that

a. Old eliminate domains does contain traffic from existing backlinks. Some traffic does be still generated by it, if the old area has a great deal of backlinks.

W. Other search engines such as for example google and msn don't appear to have an biases against expired/deleted areas.
