Natalie P. (Lacatena) Lipa went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2004 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Lacatena; and her sister, Angela Lacatena. She is survived by her husband, Milton Lipa, Binghamton; her children, Donald and Cheryl Santi, Conklin, Sandra and Ted Pourby, Binghamton, Robert and Penny Santi, Kirkwood; ten grandchildren, Lucas and Wilma Santi, Chemung, Kimberly Santi, Binghamton, Joseph and Jessica Santi, Port Crane, Michael and Lori Pourby, Binghamton, John Pourby and his fiance, Donna Davidson, Vermont, Jamie Santi, Kirkwood, Anthony Santi, N.M., Jennifer Santi and her fiancee, Joshua Brennan, Binghamton, Leslie Santi, Kirkwood, Julie Santi, Fla.; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Steve Lacatena, Binghamton; one sister, Minnie Sheehan, Md.; also several nieces and nephews. She was a retired employee of Links with over 30 years of service, and a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church. She was a devoted mother and wife and an avid porcelain doll maker, who sold her dolls for over 15 years at local craft fairs. She was also a bingo volunteer for the Willow Point Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 9:15 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, N.Y., followed at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent dePaul Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Natalie's memory may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Church.
