Henry J. Leskovich 78, of Vestal entered into eternal rest Tuesday evening, Aug. 3, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by a son Thomas H. Leskovich. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Doris (Vatral) Leskovich, Vestal; a daughter, Caroline Leskovich, Vestal; a sister Carol Fazio, Howard Beach, NY; also several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City and was a retired employee of CAE Link, Kirkwood with 25 years of service. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Vestal American Legion Post 89. He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Peter T. Campon Knights of Columbus Council #206, Binghamton, past President of the Central New York Chapter of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Rev. J. F. Hourigan Assembly #724, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate of Broome Community College and SUNY Binghamton (BU). Hank enjoyed all kinds of music, but especially listening to and collecting Jazz and Dixieland.


A funeral mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City, Monday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions to the St. James Church Memorial Fund, 147 Main St., Johnson City, NY. 13790 or the Samaritan House, 11 Fayette St., Binghamton, NY 13901 in Henry J.
