He began his accounting career with Price-Waterhouse in New York City while achieving his status as a Certified Public Accountant. In the community, Charlie could be found volunteering for the church, Endwell Rotary, Meals on Wheels, and the Boy Scouts. He was the Financial Advisor for St Joseph's Church. He also was an active member, an officer and the President from 2002-2003 of the Endwell Rotary and truly lived by the code "service above self". He was the treasurer of Meals on Wheels of Western Broome County, and served on the Board of Catholic Charities. His passion for the Boy Scouts of America started at a young age when he became an Eagle Scout, as years went on he continued to be active in the scouting community, which led to him receiving the prestige Silver Beaver Award for "Distinguished Service to Youth". Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30AM at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, 207 Hayes Ave., Endicott.
